We are a pretty happy family. I have two sisters-- Leigh and her husband, Ian Kelly, live in Bakersfield, CA, with their two dogs, Bo and Sadie. My younger sister, Jeri, is in college studying pharmacy. She has three mares and a kelpie/heeler named Rusty.My parents, Bruce and Gail, have shared their love of animals with us girls and now it seems we can't live without them! Our cowdogs have a remarkable combination of speed, endurance, intelligence, loyalty, mischief, and judiciousness-- a sense of right and wrong. They have long legs to keep up with the horses and big ears...for better listening...Our horses are bred with this criteria in mind: good minds, good looks, and good feet and straight legs. We start all our horses with love and respect-- I guess you could say Ray Hunt was a pretty big influence on my dad and me. Because we develop such deep bonds with our horses, it is very important to us that they go on to good homes where they will be used and appreciated. It takes a long time to make a good horse, and we focus more on quality over quantity, so we may not have broke horses for sale at all times. We do, however, offer our prospects for sale, so be sure to check out the sale page. We also stand our blue roan quarter horse stallion, Wyo Snapper. It is important to us that we use our stallion for more than just breeding, and therefore, every year, his book is closed on July 1st, and I take him to use on the Arapahoe ranch the rest of the year.
